Unbeaten at 15-0 with 9 knockouts, Liddard announced himself at championship level on August 22, 2026, breaking down experienced Italian Dario Morello over eight one-sided rounds at the Copper Box Arena. Morello's corner pulled him out before the ninth, and Liddard left the ring as the European middleweight champion.
