Jahyae Brown is an exciting American super welterweight and the reigning WBC USA Silver champion at the weight. The 'Golden Child' is 19-2-1 with 13 knockouts, a record built on athleticism, hand speed and a growing reputation as one of the more watchable prospects-turned-contenders in the 154lb division.

Brown is at his best when he is allowed to box on the front foot, using his reach and quick hands to pick opponents apart. He can punch, he can move, and when he finds his rhythm he is a genuine handful — but, like a lot of talented young fighters, his concentration can drift, and the very best version of him is still a work in progress.

He headlined Fight Night at Fenway 2 on June 6, 2026, helping bring big-time boxing back to the famous old ballpark. It was a tough night: he started slowly against unbeaten southpaw Anthony Vieira, fell behind, then rallied hard down the stretch to salvage a split draw and keep his belt.

That draw leaves plenty unanswered, and a rematch with Vieira is the obvious next move. At 27, Jahyae Brown has the tools and the platform to push on towards full world honours — provided he learns the lessons of a Fenway night that very nearly got away from him.
