Pryce Taylor is the Brooklyn-bred American heavyweight that the US heavyweight pipeline desperately wants to land properly. Six-foot-three-and-change of athletic, undefeated heavyweight, with eleven wins, eight knockouts, and the kind of boxing-first style that's a slight rarity for the New York heavyweight tradition. He's a boxer who can punch, not a puncher who can box.

Taylor's footwork is the standout. He moves better than most prospects his size, he's got a southpaw-friendly shoulder roll defence that suggests his coaching team have been studying the right tape, and his jab does a lot of his work in the early rounds before the right hand sets up the finish.
