Bio

Cheyenne 'Pepper' Hanson is a German featherweight out of Augsburg, Bavaria, and one of the most aggressive female punchers on the continental scene. She turned professional in September 2018 and built her reputation the hard way — on small-hall and televised German cards, against opponents who came to win.

The highlight of her career to date came in November 2024, when she outclassed Phannaluk Kongsang over ten rounds to lift the vacant WBF World bantamweight title, sweeping every round on all three cards. It marked her out as a genuine threat at world level in the lighter divisions and earned her the kind of profile that leads to nights like El Paso.

On May 31, 2026 Hanson stepped up to the very top, challenging the great Amanda Serrano for her unified featherweight titles at the County Coliseum in El Paso, Texas. Hanson had the bottle to trade early, but Serrano's relentless body work proved a level beyond her and the fight was waved off in the second round.

Power has always been part of the Hanson package — the nickname 'Pepper' is no accident. She is an orthodox pressure fighter who likes to walk opponents down and dig to the body herself. The Serrano loss is a setback at the elite level, not a verdict on her career; expect her to rebuild at European and world level in her own weight classes.
