Bio

Noel Mikaelyan is an Armenian-born, German-based cruiserweight who has quietly built one of the most durable records in the division. Twenty-eight wins, three defeats, and — the number that matters — no stoppage losses.

He is awkward rather than spectacular. Mikaelyan works behind a high guard, times the counter well, and is very difficult to hurt, which is exactly the profile that turns a routine title defence into a long night.

In September 2026 he takes the biggest fight of his career, challenging Jai Opetaia for the cruiserweight titles on the Ryan Garcia vs Conor Benn card at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Nobody is picking him, and that is fine — he has spent his whole career being the opponent nobody picks. Getting Opetaia into the championship rounds would be an achievement in itself.
