Steve Claggett is a forty fight Canadian veteran and one of the most respected pressure boxers North America has produced this decade. Forty wins, eight losses, two draws, twenty eight knockouts — and never stopped in fifty professional fights. He fights Adam Azim at the OVO Arena Wembley on May 30 2026.

Claggett's resume is the kind that gets quietly mentioned and rarely properly recognised. The 2024 world title fight against Andrew Cain went the distance. The 2025 fight with Andy Hiraoka went the distance. He has shared rings with names a decade younger than him and made nearly every one of them work for the win. The Calgary man comes forward in spells, punches with both hands, and is durable in a way that most modern professionals are not.

At 36 he is in the closing stages of his career, but he is at the highest commercial point of it. The BBC Two platform against Azim is the biggest stage of his life.
