The 25-year-old Londoner dominated Terri Harper over ten rounds at Olympia to unify the WBC and WBO lightweight titles, and she did it in a manner that left absolutely no doubt about who the better fighter is. The scorecards of 98-91, 98-91, and 97-92 tell the story of a one-sided affair punctuated by a devastating knockdown in round six.
Make no mistake, this was the performance of a future superstar. Dubois was sharper, faster, and more composed than Harper in virtually every department. She dictated range from the opening bell, landed the cleaner shots, and showcased the kind of defensive awareness that separates good fighters from elite ones.

The lightweight division is absolutely stacked with talent, and Dubois is right at the top of it. With Katie Taylor winding down her career and Amanda Serrano operating at 126lbs, Dubois has a genuine claim to being the best lightweight on the planet right now.
For Harper, it's a tough loss but not a career-ending one. She's a class fighter who was simply beaten by someone better on the night. At 16-3-2, she's still a relevant name at 135lbs and will be back. But this was Dubois's night, and what a night it was. British women's boxing is in a very good place indeed.
