Brian "Assassin" Norman Jr is the Atlanta-born former WBO welterweight champion who held the strap from 2024 and lost a decision to a unified champion in late 2025. He is, at 25 years old, one of the most exciting welterweights in the world and the kind of fighter who could very easily finish 2026 with another belt around his waist.
Norman is 28-1 with 22 stoppages, a near-80% finish rate that puts him in the top tier of 147-pound knockout artists. His best win — a brutal sixth-round body-shot stoppage of Devin Haney in 2025 — is one of the most replayable knockouts of the last decade.
He returns to the ring on May 16 at Scope Arena, Norfolk against Canadian Josh Wagner over ten rounds in the co-feature to Keyshawn Davis vs Nahir Albright. A win sets up a title shot in the back end of 2026.
