Kelvin Davis

Bio

Kelvin "K-Black" Davis is the older brother of Keyshawn Davis and the original fighting Davis of Norfolk, Virginia. He turned over a year before his younger brother and has been building a career at welterweight that is, in his hometown at least, just as anticipated.

Davis is 15-1 with 8 stoppages, his only loss coming on a split decision in a step-up fight in 2024. He fights with a slightly more measured pace than Keyshawn — less explosive, more patient on the back foot, and a sharper jab to the body than to the head.

He returns to Scope Arena on May 16 against Bronx native Peter Dobson over ten rounds, on his younger brother's Top Rank–promoted hometown card. The Davis brothers headlining and co-featuring at the Scope is one of the family stories of 2026.
