Dakota Linger
Bio
Dakota Linger is the kind of fighter every card needs and no fighter enjoys sharing a ring with. He comes to fight, he does not fold when it gets uncomfortable, and he asks hard questions of prospects who are used to easy nights.
That toughness was on display again on 12 September 2026 in Las Vegas against Vlad Panin. Linger was hurt badly to the body inside the first round, covered up in the corner while Panin unloaded, and somehow got to the bell — with the ringside doctor openly saying he would be keeping a close eye on him.
He came back out and kept trying. In the fourth, two more heavy body shots backed him to the ropes and referee Thomas Taylor stepped in at 1:22 to spare him further punishment. A sensible stoppage against a man who would not have quit on his own.
There is no shame in that night's work. Linger was outgunned rather than out-willed, and that distinction matters.
