Bio
Da'Mazion Vanhouter is 21 years old, 13-0, and the most exciting heavyweight prospect in American boxing right now. Not a controversial statement — just look at what he has been doing.
Five consecutive stoppages. Four of them in the first round. On 12 September 2026 in Las Vegas he ended Raphael Akpejiori with two right hooks at 1:58 of the opening round and left him unconscious on the canvas. No count was needed.
What makes him more than a puncher is that he is a genuinely composed young fighter. In that same Akpejiori fight he loaded up on a haymaker, had his arm pushed away awkwardly, immediately signalled to his corner that something felt wrong — and then went and finished the job anyway. At 21. That is a proper temperament.
The obvious caveat applies: he has not been past the early rounds against anyone with a pulse, so we do not know what his engine looks like in round eight. But the power is real, the timing is real, and the heavyweight division has been short of young Americans worth watching for a long time.
