Keith Thurman
One Time
Bio
Keith "One Time" Thurman is a former unified WBA and WBC welterweight champion with serious power in both hands. At 30-2-1 with 22 knockouts, he's a proper puncher with elite-level wins. The issue is that injuries have robbed him of years in the ring. Long layoffs have been a constant problem, and he lost to Manny Pacquiao in 2019 — a fight that many thought was competitive but the judges gave to Pac.
Make no mistake, Thurman's power is real, and at 37, he's getting a chance to fight for something meaningful again. He lost to Mario Barrios, but now he's moved up to super welterweight and is facing Sebastian Fundora on March 28. It's a comeback opportunity against a genuinely tricky opponent with that unorthodox southpaw style and massive height advantage. Thurman's got to be sharp, because Fundora will test everything he's got.
