Michael Magnesi
Nice
Bio
Michael 'Nice' Magnesi is one of Italy's most reliable operators at super-featherweight. At 26-2 with 13 knockouts, he's a former IBO world champion who's spent his career proving he belongs in with the best the division has to offer. He's durable, he's experienced, and he carries enough on his shots to make anyone respect him.
His career hit a bump when he dropped an eliminator to Masanori Rikiishi in 2024, but Magnesi being Magnesi, he simply got back to work. Three straight wins later, he's earned another crack at major honours. That's the mark of a proper fighter — no excuses, no feeling sorry for himself, just back in the gym and back in the win column.
On June 20, 2026 he travels to enemy territory to face unbeaten home favourite Ryan Garner for the WBC interim super-featherweight title at St Mary's Stadium in Southampton. Make no mistake, Magnesi isn't coming to make up the numbers — he's coming to spoil the party. If Garner switches off for a second, the Italian has the power to make him pay.
