O'Shaquie Foster
Ice Water
Bio
O'Shaquie Foster is the current WBC super-featherweight champion, a slick boxer from Houston, Texas who's fought tooth and nail to get where he is. The man was homeless at points in his career. He's been written off more than once. Make no mistake — Foster's one of the proper stories in American boxing.
Foster's a technician. He works behind a long jab, he moves smartly, and his fight IQ is class. He first won the WBC title by decision over Rey Vargas in 2023, lost it in a thrilling fight with Robson Conceicao, then regained it in the rematch. On May 30, 2026 he defends for the first time in his reign back at home in Houston against former WBA featherweight champion Raymond Ford at the Fertitta Center, live on DAZN.
Foster's resume has depth — Vargas, Conceicao twice, Abraham Nova, Rocky Hernandez. The knock on him has always been power and output. He wins rounds on craft, not fireworks. At 32 he's in the peak window of his career and if he can turn back Ford this summer, unification fights with Shakur Stevenson or a jump to 135 become realistic next steps. Ice Water by name, ice water by nature.
