Royston Barney-Smith

Bio
Royston Barney-Smith is one of the brightest prospects in British boxing and after winning the vacant British and Commonwealth super-featherweight titles in Glasgow, he is officially a name everyone needs to know. The undefeated 25-year-old has class written all over him — and on Saturday night he announced himself with a dominant second-round stoppage of Conor McIntosh.
Barney-Smith came up through the amateur ranks as a proper standout, and he has translated that pedigree into the pro game without breaking stride. Twelve fights, no losses, eight stoppages, and the domestic belts already on his shoulder. That is a serious career trajectory. The kid has levels.
What sets him apart is his composure. He does not get into scrappy fights. He controls range, picks his moments, and finishes when the opportunity is there. If he stays on this trajectory, a European title is a formality within twelve months and a world title eliminator could follow by the end of 2027. Brilliant young fighter.
