Fury vs Joshua Tickets: What We Know

Right then. Fury vs Joshua tickets go on sale today, Friday, October 9, at 12:00 BST, as announced by Matchroom's Eddie Hearn at the launch press conference. Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua meet at Principality Stadium in Cardiff on December 11, and if you want to be in the building, today is the day to be on the website.

Official pricing had not been confirmed when I wrote this, so I will not give you figures I cannot stand behind. Estimates doing the rounds suggest the cheap seats will not be cheap, and ringside and hospitality will be eye-watering. Plan accordingly, and be careful of resale sites charging silly money for tickets that do not yet exist.

Why This Will Sell Out

Let's not beat around the bush: this is the fight British boxing fans have wanted for years. I wrote about the build in the launch press conference piece, and about the no-rematch angle in the no-rematch clause story. The demand is obvious, and a stadium in Cardiff is going to be a proper atmosphere.

The Fight Itself

Fury is the bigger man with the awkward style and the better chin. Joshua is the sharper puncher with the better engine when he is right. Both have lost big nights, and both know a defeat here would be hard to come back from.

The Prediction

Make no mistake, this is a close one. But I back Joshua. If he keeps the jab sharp and does not lunge, he can take the rounds that matter, and I see him winning a tense decision in Cardiff. Fury will make it ugly, but I think Joshua has just enough class to get it done. Tickets first, predictions after.
