- Saturday 7 November has two big British cards at the same time: Buatsi vs Hutchinson 2 at the AO Arena in Manchester on DAZN, and Zuffa Boxing 12 at the Copper Box in London on Sky Sports
- Both main cards start at 7pm UK time, so you will be flicking between them
- My picks: Buatsi on points, Billam-Smith on points, Bentley by late stoppage
Two Cards, One Remote
Right then. Boxing fans are spoilt on Saturday and a bit stuck too. The AO Arena in Manchester hosts Joshua Buatsi against Willy Hutchinson for the vacant WBC light heavyweight title, live on DAZN. Across the country, the Copper Box Arena in London hosts Zuffa Boxing 12, led by Chris Billam-Smith against Cheavon Clarke, live on Sky Sports.
The Schedule
Manchester (DAZN)
The prelims run on the DAZN YouTube channel from 4pm UK time, and the main card on DAZN starts at 7pm. The headline fight is Buatsi vs Hutchinson 2.
London (Sky Sports, NOW and Paramount+ in the US)
Prelims start at 5pm on Sky's digital platforms, the main card begins at 7pm on Sky Sports and NOW, and the Billam-Smith vs Clarke ring walks are expected around 10pm. The co-feature is Denzel Bentley against Shane Mosley Jr over 10 rounds at middleweight.
How I Would Watch It
Let's not beat around the bush: the sensible plan is to give the Zuffa undercard to Sky from 7pm and keep DAZN on a second screen for the Manchester build-up. Both headline ring walks will land at roughly the same point in the evening, and if you can only choose one, make it the one with the title on the line. For me that is Buatsi vs Hutchinson 2. Make no mistake, it is a better pure fight on paper.
My Picks
Buatsi wins on points in a tight one, because his speed and right hand cause Hutchinson problems. Billam-Smith wins on points over Clarke, as the more complete professional. And Bentley stops Mosley Jr late. Three picks, no fence-sitting. Read the full thinking in my Buatsi vs Hutchinson 2 preview and my Zuffa 12 fight-night piece.
